Curbside pickup is nothing to pooh-pooh. Community Office Solutions in Reno, NV., is collaborating with local restaurant owners by giving a free roll of toilet paper with each order to help out those caught short by coronavirus panic-buying.
Neighboring establishments offering the promotion include Liberty Food & Wine Exchange, a downtown artisan eatery, and market, Our Bar, a cozy tavern serving tacos, burgers, and salads, and popular MidTown Korean Fusion eatery Arario, known for creating unique and fun dishes from all over the world. The locally owned businesses have all partnered with Community Office Solutions to provide the most coveted paper products to the community.
“Carry out business is becoming more of a priority right now to make sure our community is safe and fed!” Jenifer Rose, Owner Community Office Solutions, said. “This is a creative way for us to support our local businesses and provide supplies while helping them draw new customers downtown to our locally owned establishments and also provide something that is considered an essential item.” “I hope that people will have a little fun with the promotion. If you need the roll, keep it, If you don’t, pass it on to someone who got caught short. It’s a great way to get some of the supply to a large number of people.”
“The northern Nevada community must come together right now to support local businesses of all types for us to survive this economic disturbance,” said Mark Estee, Owner Liberty Food and Wine Exchange. Estee owns five businesses that have been affected by the COVID-19 shutdown. Estee shared that nearly 200 of his staff recently laid off during this time, and he is actively working with his neighboring businesses to provide service to the Reno community.
Community Office Solutions is a business to business office supply company with a unique give-back program. Carrying over 60,000 business products from office supplies to office furniture, this is an easy way for businesses to support local charities with products they are already purchasing.
“We have also been working with some of our essential businesses that have staff working remotely by providing necessary office and cleaning supplies so that they do not risk exposure to the virus, in crowded stores with long lines, said Rose.”
In addition to partnering with the local restaurant’s Community Office Solutions is also donating to the Reno City Council Stuff a Bus program for Senior Centers, individuals and families struggling with severe fixed incomes, and locally placed Karma Boxes.
