This year’s notable celebration will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 10 and will feature individual ceremonies across Clark County followed by a celebratory group reception at the Vegas Event Center. The Vegas Wedding Chamber will choose six couples — from all branches of the armed forces — to receive fully donated ceremonies, receptions and amenities. The couples will be matched with vendors by the Vegas Wedding Chamber and may invite their closest family and friends.
This year’s reception will include a buffet dinner, wedding cake, live DJ, professional photography, custom décor and surprise guest appearances by community leaders and dignitaries.
The Vegas Wedding Chamber continues to enhance the weddings through donations by wedding industry professionals, including officiants, florists, makeup artists, hairstylists, transportation providers, photographers and hotel partners. There is still opportunity for community members wishing to be part of this celebration to enrich the experience by donating additional goods or services. Please contact the Chamber a weddingchamber.vegas if interested.
“What makes this initiative so meaningful is that it reflects the generosity and heart of the Wedding Capital of the World,” said Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya. “Our wedding community pours so much care into creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for these military couples, and the result is something deeply emotional and uniquely Las Vegas.”
Interested military couples are invited to enter the contest now through Saturday, July here. Vendors may also apply to donate their goods and services here.

ABOUT THE WEDDING CAPITAL OF THE WORLD™
For over a century, a “Vegas wedding” has captured public imagination as the ultimate stress-free, fun, glamorous and romantic wedding, whether it is a spur-of-the-moment occasion or an elaborately planned extravaganza for 600 guests. Offering weddings for every budget—including elopements at iconic Las Vegas chapels, elaborate nuptial celebrations at the Strip’s most elegant resorts and everything in between—the destination delivers dream weddings of every description for every budget. The Clark County Marriage License Bureau, overseen by the Honorable Lynn Marie Goya, issued more than 70,000 marriage licenses in 2025, adding to its reputation as a world-recognized premier wedding destination. Marriages are tracked in the United States by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that compiles an annual Marriage Rate by State, calculating the number of marriages per thousand population. With more than 5 million weddings and counting, Nevada’s marriage rate is 24.6 as opposed to the national marriage rate of 6.1 per thousand; Hawaii’s rate is 12.5 per thousand and Florida’s 7.0 per thousand. Internationally, marriage rates for countries typically range from 5 to 10 per thousand population. But it isn’t just the numbers. Once known as the “Niagara Falls of the West” with the famous Las Vegas Strip called “Honeymoon Highway,” on Sept. 23, 1953, the London Daily Herald first called Las Vegas the “Wedding Capital of the World.” For more information about the Wedding Capital of the World™ or the Office of the Clark County Clerk, Nevada, visit weddings.vegas.
