LAS VEGAS (May 2026) – AREA15, the world’s first purpose-built destination for immersive entertainment located parallel to the Las Vegas Strip, announces Bonnie Weber as its new president. Bringing decades of leadership experience across the global attractions and theme park industry, Weber has consistently driven operational excellence, elevated guest experiences and delivered sustained financial performance.
A transformative leader with a track record spanning some of the world’s most recognized entertainment brands, including Palace Entertainment, Six Flags Entertainment and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Weber has overseen large-scale park portfolios, managed multibillion-dollar operations and led teams of tens of thousands of employees. Her appointment comes as AREA15 continues its ambitious growth trajectory, including a robust pipeline of new attractions and experiences set to debut throughout 2026.
Weber most recently served as chief operating officer of Palace Entertainment, where she oversaw a portfolio of 22 parks across North America and Australia. Prior to that position, she held multiple senior leadership roles at Six Flags Entertainment, including senior vice president of park operations, where she led operations for 26 parks and managed a $1.5 billion P&L and more than 50,000 employees across the company’s North American portfolio. During her tenure as park president of Six Flags Magic Mountain, Weber delivered eight consecutive record-breaking years, doubling profit margins to 50% while introducing innovative guest experience initiatives and new revenue models.
Her career also includes leadership roles with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, where she contributed to global franchise development and experiential rollouts. In addition to her executive experience, Weber served on the board of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) from 2022 to 2024 and is currently a board member of the IAAPA Foundation, supporting the continued advancement of the attractions industry and development of future talent. Weber also serves as an advisory board member of Pomvom, the digital media company connecting guests with images of themselves taken at park or venue cameras.
“Bonnie brings a distinctive ability to expand AREA15’s bold ideas into something that performs at a high level without losing what makes it special,” said Winston Fisher, chief executive officer, AREA15. “As we continue to grow and introduce new experiences and attractions, her leadership will help us stay inventive, competitive and firmly ahead of where this industry is going.”
“What drew me here is the opportunity to help shape AREA15’s next chapter—growing the business in a way that stays true to its creative spirit while continuing to surprise guests and raise the bar for what’s next,” said Weber.
As AREA15 continues its ambitious growth trajectory, Weber’s leadership arrives at a pivotal moment. With a dynamic pipeline of new experiences and many more openings throughout 2026, including the Burning Man Boeing 747 multi-use event and nightlife venue, AREA15 is poised to expand their position at the forefront of immersive entertainment. Weber’s appointment reflects AREA15’s continued investment in leadership during the next chapter of AREA15’s story. For more information on AREA15, visit AREA15.com.
