
The Las Vegas Rotary Club will host its “Celebrate America 250” Community Day in the Park on Saturday, May 16 at the Springs Preserve, inviting the community to come together in honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary.
Part of the nationwide America 250 initiative, the event celebrates the spirit and history of the nation through a family-friendly day of fitness, food and community connection. The ticketed event will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will feature a fun run/walk, pancake breakfast, live music, and children’s activities from 7:00 to 11:00 am. Tickets include a full day access to the Springs Preserve and free parking. Advanced tickets are required.
The morning begins with a 7:30 a.m. fun run/walk for adults, followed by a family fun run/walk at 8:30 a.m. Additional activities include a pancake breakfast, games and crafts for children, and entertainment throughout the morning. . Attendees can then stay and explore the Springs Preserve, butterfly habitat, botanical gardens, museums, trails, and interactive exhibits.
“This event is a celebration of both community and country as we honor America’s 250th anniversary,” said Greg Maguire, president-elect of the Las Vegas Rotary Club. “We’re proud to bring people together at the Springs Preserve for a day that reflects the spirit of unity, service and pride that defines our nation.”
The event is designed to engage families and community members of all ages while highlighting Rotary’s ongoing commitment to service and civic engagement. The celebration connects local community impact with a historic national milestone.
Tickets include full-day access to the Springs Preserve and private event programming.
