The project is already underway with completion targeted for 2027.
“This project represents a landmark moment for Reno and for Helix Electric,” said Victor Fuchs, president and CEO of Helix Electric, LLC. “Being selected as the electrical partner for such a transformative and high-profile development is a tremendous honor and a testament to our team’s technical expertise, safety culture, and ability to deliver complex, large-scale projects. This arena will be a defining feature of Reno’s future, and we are proud to play a critical role in powering a venue that will host world-class events, create jobs, and strengthen the region’s economy for decades to come.”
The Grand Sierra Resort Arena is expected to attract major concerts, sporting events, and entertainment acts while providing year-round community access to ice sports and recreational programming. The project aligns with Helix’s long-standing commitment to supporting regional growth through infrastructure that enhances quality of life and economic vitality.
