
WHAT: The 19th Annual American Cancer Society Coaches vs. Cancer® (CvC) Las Vegas Golf Classic, presented by Sanford Health – was founded by the college basketball Hall of Famer in 2007. It’s become one of the largest Coaches vs. Cancer fundraisers for the American Cancer Society, and features NCAA basketball/football coaches from around the nation. Since its inception, the Classic has raised over $16 million to support the American Cancer Society’s work.
Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). The initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs. Since 1993, coaches have raised over $196 million for the American Cancer Society.
WHEN: Sunday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m. PT. The Classic kicks off with Party with a Purpose at Park MGM’s On The Record hosted by Kris Budden of ESPN.
WHERE: Golf takes place Monday & Tuesday (May 18-19) from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days on five different courses (Shadow Creek, Southern Highlands, Cascata, TPC Summerlin, and South Shore).
