Local dignitaries, community partners and supporters gathered at Line Drive for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the new property, which brings much-needed accessible, affordable “housing with care” to the Reno community.
Located at 700 Line Drive in Reno, and built by Northern Nevada based construction company, Metcalf Builders, Line Drive Apartments is a three‑story, 51‑unit created specifically for veterans and others needing accessible, affordable housing. The development features accessible outdoor amenities, including decorative hardscapes, a dog park, shaded seating and barbeque areas, along with an indoor community room designed to foster connection and support.
“At Accessible Space, Inc., we believe those who have served our country deserve housing that truly meets their needs,” said Jerry Kappeler, Chief Development of ASI. “Line Drive Apartments represents more than just a place to live, it’s a community built with intention, where veterans can feel supported, connected and at home.”
The $15 million project was completed in approximately 14 months.
“Our entire Metcalf team is honored to help bring projects like this to life,” said Bryce Clutts, President and CEO of Metcalf Builders. “It’s deeply rewarding to design a space that meets the needs of an underserved market while ensuring it remains affordable and accessible.”
