
It was the seventh-annual rendition of the session, which featured lessons on interpreting financial data, reading governing documents and running effective board meetings.
Speakers included CAMCO Chief Financial Officer Mary Ann Hubbard, Vice President of Association Services Lucille Sanchez and Master Association Manager Karen McClain AMS,CMCA,PCAM,LSM.
CAMCO President David Swenson said the session reflected the company’s commitment to go beyond day-to-day community management and help boards lead effectively.
“Our Board Member 101 training program is designed to help community leaders better understand governance, financial responsibilities, communication and best practices so they can confidently serve their communities and make informed decisions that benefit residents for years to come,” he said.
CAMCO offered the program to board members in person, with a virtual option on Zoom.
