LAS VEGAS — In honor of National Nurses Week, May 6–12, Create Credit Union has launched a community-wide recognition campaign to celebrate the nurses and nursing students who dedicate their lives to caring for others throughout Southern Nevada.
The initiative reflects Create Credit Union’s ongoing commitment to the medical professionals it serves, bringing together members and residents to shine a light on the compassion and resilience at the heart of local healthcare.
As part of the celebration, Create Credit Union will award three professional nurses each a $500 Visa Gift Card and two nursing students each a $250 Visa Gift Card, along with special gift bags for all winners. Community members are invited to nominate a nurse, nursing student, coworker, family member, friend or even themselves, through the submission period ending May 12.
“We honor and respect our community’s nursing professionals,” said Matt Kershaw, President/CEO of Create Credit Union. “In every aspect of health care, we recognize them for their compassionate care and assistance. Please join us in showing our appreciation during National Nurses Week.”
Create Credit Union is also spotlighting its exclusive “Nursing is a Work of Heart” debit card, designed by a nurse, for nurses, as a tangible symbol of the credit union’s year-round support for medical professionals.
To nominate a nurse or nursing student, visit info.createcu.org/nurses-week-2026 or call the Member Service Center at 702-228-2228.
