shareWESTSIDE, a new five-story residential apartment building with 100-plus units located on the corner of D and Jefferson Streets in the Historic Westside neighborhood of downtown Las Vegas, will start offering hard hat tours of the apartment units and the building’s upgraded amenities this week.
shareWESTSIDE will have 104 one-bedroom units measuring about 580 sq. ft. Eighty-four of the units will be designated for workforce housing, with rents starting at $1275 per month.
Like its sister properties in the Arts District and Fremont East, shareWESTSIDE units offer a single floor plan and feature contemporary design elements, such as modern cabinetry, wood plank-style flooring, quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances, including an electric cooktop and a smart all-in-one washer and dryer. A limited number of furnished units will also be available. Building security will be bolstered with keyless front door locks, key fob main entry, secured surface parking, and remotely monitored cameras.
shareWESTSIDE will offer residents new and enhanced amenities from prior shareDOWNTOWN buildings. The HQ will be a larger co-working space with free Wi-Fi, a flat screen smart TV, wireless printer/scanner, individual workstations, and private conference room.
Known as the Kitchen, the building’s public hospitality space will offer a food prep area with community dining tables. Next to the Kitchen will be more casual seating on a covered patio that leads to an open-air courtyard.
The building will also offer an enhanced fitness center with Peloton access, free weights, cardiovascular equipment, yoga room, and a universal strength training system. A private movie viewing room will also be available to residents.
The apartment community will also reflect the people, history and culture of the Westside community. For example, shareWESTSIDE will incorporate items salvaged from the New Jerusalem church, which previously occupied the building’s site. And many of the project’s partners are small businesses in the Westside community, like TV Interiors, owned by Westside resident TaVangelia Chanjoy-Wren, which is coordinating the interior design and décor that is inspired by the neighborhood for all the building’s public spaces, model units, and the fully furnished apartments.
People who have already signed up on the shareDOWNTOWN or shareWESTSIDE online interest lists, including the residents of the Historic Westside who signed up on the first list that debuted at the Westside’s Love on Jackson event back in February, will be called first for hard hat tours and opportunities to lease a unit. Anyone interested in scheduling a hard hat tour and learning more about leasing opportunities at shareWESTSIDE should sign up at https://www.sharedowntown.com/sharewestside.
