LAS VEGAS – The LINQ Promenade is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a weekend-long lineup of food and beverage specials, comedy programming and entertainment options across its open-air destination from Friday, May 1 through Tuesday, May 5. Guests can experience festive flavors, themed cocktails and lively entertainment throughout the district, bringing the joy of Cinco de Mayo to the Las Vegas Strip.
At Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar, the annual “Cinco de Chayo Celebration” returns with weekend programming including mariachi performances Friday through Sunday and Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., along with Latin Nights on Friday and Saturday beginning at midnight. Guests can also enjoy a taco cart and traditional dishes such as Pozole Rojo, Menudo Colorado and Chicken & Green Chile Tamales.
Across the Promenade, participating venues will offer a range of limited-time food and beverage specials inspired by the holiday. Highlights include Haute Doggery’s Haute Dog Burrito featuring an all-beef hot dog, crispy fries, cheese sauce, guacamole and pico de gallo for $12 and Flour and Barley’s Taco Pizza topped with ground beef, lettuce, black beans, pico de gallo, grilled corn, avocado and cilantro crema for $24.
Virgil’s Real BBQ will ALSO join the festivities with a lineup of Cinco de Mayo inspired food and beverage offerings, including margaritas, micheladas and beer buckets featuring Modelo or Corona, as well as food specials such as all-day 2 for $10 tacos with brisket, pulled pork or veggie options and Brisket Nachos for $15.
Entertainment throughout the weekend will include a full slate of comedy at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club, where the venue will debut its “Fresh Faces of Comedy” series with the 5:30 p.m. show “Gringa Fiesta,” followed by performances from Michael Yo at 7:30 p.m. and John Caparulo at 9:30 p.m. Select shows will also feature themed food and beverage specials.
