LAS VEGAS — Fremont Street Experience will light up downtown Las Vegas with Team USA Weekend, Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20. Celebrating both the World Soccer Championships and America’s 250th anniversary, the iconic entertainment district will host a weekend of programming featuring a Team USA Pep Rally and Watch Party, an America250 fireworks spectacular and the debut of Tribute to America, a new music reel on The Canopy™.
“Team USA Weekend showcases the variety of experiences that make downtown Las Vegas a destination for sports, entertainment and special events,” said Cliff Atkinson. “From the Team USA Pep Rally to a free special fireworks celebration, guests can enjoy a full weekend of entertainment in the heart of downtown.”
In anticipation of the international matchup between the United States and Australia, fans can attend the Team USA Pep Rally on Friday, June 19 at 9 a.m. at Main Street Stage featuring free giveaways, live music, a temporary tattoo station, a custom hat station and more before making their way to the Team USA Watch Party with AFC Bournemouth at Stadium Swim inside Circa Resort & Casino at 12 p.m.
The festivities continue Saturday, June 20 as Fremont Street Experience joins the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s (LVCVA) citywide America 250 celebration with a fireworks spectacular that will launch at 4th Street and Fremont Street at 9 p.m., along with a new custom music reel celebrating America on The Canopy™.
