LAS VEGAS, Nev. – June 9, 2026 – Impact Las Vegas members gathered June 7 for the organization’s Annual Meeting and Grant Awards Luncheon, where members celebrated another year of collective philanthropy and awarded funding to two exceptional nonprofit organizations.
The 2026 grant cycle showcased the power of collective giving and volunteer engagement.
Following a comprehensive grant review process, Impact Las Vegas awarded its 2026 Impact Grant of $120,000 to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) for the creation of the Impact Las Vegas Outreach Depot, a new centralized supply and volunteer hub that will expand the organization’s capacity to serve youth experiencing homelessness.
The organization presented the 2026 Members Award of $15,000 to Serving Our Kids Foundation for its Feeding Their Dreams program, recognizing its ongoing efforts to combat childhood hunger and support food-insecure students.

Expanding Services for Vulnerable Youth
NPHY’s Outreach Team has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years as demand for services continues to rise. During the past year alone, the organization made nearly 20,000 contacts with youth through its outreach efforts, and outreach contacts have increased by more than 50 percent over the last two years.
The Impact Las Vegas grant will support the development of the Impact Las Vegas Outreach Depot, a permanent, purpose-built outreach supply center located adjacent to NPHY’s new Outreach Hub. The facility will provide secure storage for thousands of essential outreach items, including food, hygiene supplies, clothing, first-aid items, and informational resources for youth in need.
The project will also create a centralized space for volunteers to organize supplies and assemble outreach kits, enabling NPHY to conduct larger-scale outreach efforts more efficiently and expand its reach throughout Southern Nevada.
The grant funding will support:
- $60,000 for construction of the climate-controlled Outreach Depot
- $45,000 for life-saving outreach supplies
- $15,000 for outreach staffing and operational support
A Rigorous Community-Led Selection Process
The Impact Las Vegas process included:
- 115 nonprofit organizations submitting Letters of Interest
- 16 organizations invited to submit full grant applications
- 5 organizations selected for member site visits
- 2 finalist organizations invited to present
- Hundreds of volunteer hours contributed by Impact Las Vegas members throughout the review process
Approaching a Historic Milestone
Since 2012, Impact Las Vegas has brought together women committed to making a meaningful difference in Southern Nevada through collective philanthropy.
The organization awarded its first grant in 2013 and established its Members Award program in 2017 to provide additional support to finalist organizations.
Since that first grant award, Impact Las Vegas has awarded $881,600 in primary grants and an additional $79,600 through the Members Award program, bringing the organization’s total charitable impact to $896,600.
Members also celebrated an exciting milestone on the horizon: based on projected membership and giving levels, Impact Las Vegas has the potential to surpass $1 million in total charitable giving during its next grant cycle.
“This milestone represents far more than dollars awarded,” said Heavy. “It reflects the dedication of hundreds of women who have come together over the past 14 years to learn about our community, support local nonprofits, and create lasting change throughout Southern Nevada.”
