As guests step into their roles as dinosaur vets, they will have the opportunity to take temperature, check heartbeats, clean dinosaurs in a sink and complete a health checklist as they diagnose and care for each dinosaur patient. Attendees also have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the experience as they wear veterinarian lab coats and treat dinosaur “patients” in designated pet-style cages. The vet clinic is meant to offer families a chance to learn STEM-based skills in an interactive way as they immerse themselves in hands-on, imaginative play.
“Our goal has always been to create an environment where families can learn together through play,” said Tim Clothier, president and CEO at Dinosaur Outpost. “The vet clinic brings a new level of interactivity to the experience, encouraging curiosity, empathy, and hands-on discovery.”
The dinosaur vet clinic is located within the former foam bones activity area and offers families approximately 75 square feet of space inside the tent, providing plenty of room for interaction with the dinosaurs. Inside the tent, visitors can treat adorable baby dinosaurs.
The Dinosaur Outpost vet clinic is now open and included with general admission, offering guests a fun and memorable way to experience hands-on learning during their visit.
During the summer months, Dinosaur Outpost is open daily starting at 9 a.m., with last admission at 5:30 p.m. through Monday, August 10.
