Reno, Nev. – Dickson Commercial Group Management (DCGM) proudly welcomes Cathy Shanks, CPM, as vice president & director. With more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Shanks brings extensive leadership in asset, property, and healthcare management to the DCGM team.

Shanks served over seven years as director of real estate and asset management at Renown Health, northern Nevada’s largest locally owned healthcare network. There, she led strategic planning, acquisitions, leasing and facilities management across a 2 million-square-foot portfolio. Her achievements included the acquisition of significant medical and industrial properties and the execution of over 50,000 square feet of new clinical leases.
Previously, Shanks held senior roles at Dermody Properties, Trammell Crow Company, Prologis, Colliers International and SyWest Development, managing millions of square feet of commercial space nationwide. In 2017, she founded Alignment Real Estate Management (AREM) to deliver high-level property services throughout northern Nevada.
Shanks holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from IREM, a B.A. in Behavioral Science, and is a licensed real estate broker-salesperson in Nevada. She was named Broker of the Year by the Summit Awards in 2008 and served as vice president of CREW in 2007.
With her deep industry knowledge and operational expertise, Shanks strengthens DCGM’s commitment to delivering best-in-class real estate services throughout the region.
