HENDERSON, Nev. – Henderson’s Emerald Island Casino and Rainbow Club Casino are proud to announce their recognition in twelve categories in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Awards. Emerald Island Casino received the following designations: gold for Best Henderson Restaurant, gold for Best Breakfast, gold for Best Late Night Eats Valley Wide, silver for Best Henderson Casino, silver for Best Video Poker Valley Wide, bronze for Best Paying Slots Valley Wide, bronze for Best Coffee Shop & Diner Valley Wide, bronze for Best Player’s/Loyalty Club Valley Wide.
Rainbow Club Casino received a silver designation for Best Casual Restaurant Valley Wide, bronze for Best Burger Valley Wide, bronze for Best Brunch Valley Wide and bronze for Best Cheap Eats Valley Wide.

Both the Emerald Island Casino and Rainbow Club Casino are owned and operated by brothers Tim and Mike Brooks. The Emerald Island Casino, previously known as the Pot of Gold Casino, was remodeled, and rebranded in 2003 is now considered the top choice for locals. The Rainbow Club Casino, located on Water Street in the Historic Water Street District of Downtown Henderson, has been a staple of the Henderson community since 1967. Originally operating as a grocery store, the Rainbow Club was built to provide goods and services for workers of the Basic Magnesium Company in World War II. In 1984 Peppermill Casinos bought the property and sold it to the Brooks brothers in 2020, who, after an extensive interior and exterior redesign, re-opened the casino in September of 2020.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal has been conducting the Best of Las Vegas awards since 1981 and this year marks its 41st edition.
