RENO, Nev. (Feb. 23, 2023) – Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) recently completed a remodel of its Vista Tower as part of a $55 million capital improvement investment throughout the property. Guests can now choose to retire to luxuriously appointed rooms and suites in the Summit Tower, Sierra Tower and the newly remodeled Vista Tower.Vista Tower
The Vista Tower has a variety of suite layouts designed to accommodate any occasion. The Director Suite offers all the standard luxuries with an open floor plan and an option for a second bedroom. The Ambassador Suite features modern comforts decorated in a warm color palette with plush fabrics and high-end furnishings with a wet bar, expansive living room, marble spa bathroom and a private bedroom.
At more than 1,500 square feet, the Presidential Suite includes a king-sized bed and one-and-a-half bathrooms with a marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The Diplomat Suite boasts exquisite furnishings and embellishments including an open-layout marble bathroom complete with a spa shower, a dining table with seating for eight, a small kitchen and multiple living areas.
GSR’s most exclusive suite, the Chairman Suite, offers the highest caliber of service and luxury. With more than 2,000 square feet, the suite houses two king bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a spacious wet bar area, multiple dining and lounge areas, and sweeping views of the valley.
Summit Tower
Inside the Summit Tower, guests can choose from a queen room, king room, deluxe rooms and Executive and Studio suites. Summit Rooms are located on higher floors and offer plush bedding and premium fixtures with a modern design, plus sensational views of the city, the pool, or the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Sierra Tower
The Sierra Tower features luxury hotel rooms, studios and suites featuring bright, modern décor, decadently comfortable bedding and a spa-inspired bathroom retreat. Options include king and queen rooms, deluxe rooms, as well as Executive, Studio and Director Suites. Concierge Rooms are available for guests 18 and over.
Property-wide Capital Improvements
GSR invested more than $55 million in capital improvements throughout the casino resort last year alone. In addition to the renovation of more than 600 rooms, other 2022 additions to GSR include a new Starbucks, revamped 2nd Street Express quick-serve restaurant, and modifications and expansion of the resort’s Funquest arcade and bowling alley to include eight VIP bowling lanes, as well as a $10 million dollar race and sportsbook upgrade and the addition of Reno’s first Chickie’s & Pete’s Crabhouse and Sports Bar.
