Over $30,000 and 70 hours volunteered by acclaimed legal firm in 2023
De Castroverde Law Group, a personal injury and immigration law firm with offices in Reno and Las Vegas, ends 2023 with a substantial amount of time and financial resources given back to Nevada communities. The law firm and its employees are committed to positively impacting the Silver State in and out of the courtroom.
“Our firm is family-run, and one of our driving principles is treating everyone like family,” said Alex De Castroverde, partner at De Castroverde Group. “We are so proud of our team and the dedication they have shown to bettering the lives of Nevadans beyond our legal work.”
In December 2023, De Castroverde contributed to many charitable endeavors, including:
-
Donating $2,500 to Foster Kinship to purchase 25 Christmas wish lists for their Winter Wishes Program.
-
Donating $500 worth of toys to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department’s toy giveaway celebration.
-
Donating $200 in gift cards to the Santa in the Circle & Cookie Exchange event with Las Vegas Councilwoman Olivia Diaz.
Financial donations were not all De Castroverde Law Group gave in December 2023. Several lawyers also donated their time this holiday season, including serving food at Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada.
“It’s wonderful to have opportunities like this on top of the great legal work we do,” said Ryan Samano, personal injury attorney at De Castroverde Law Group. “My mother has actually worked with Catholic Charities for years. Getting to work alongside her with my coworkers helps all of us feel closer to community members.”
De Castroverde also prioritized giving back to Nevada teachers, giving back over $4,000 to educators in Clark and Washoe counties as a part of their 2023 Teacher Appreciation Awards. The Teacher Appreciation Awards were established in order to highlight the crucial impact that teachers have on molding students’ minds and futures.
“All of us here at De Castroverde have been positively impacted by a teacher at some point in our lives,” said Orlando De Castroverde, partner at De Castroverde Law Group. “If we can uplift our state’s educators, that extends far beyond just their classroom. Better prepared teachers will have incredible effects on our younger generations, their families, and the community as a whole.”
