Las Vegas dad and entrepreneur, Tim Clothier, has transformed four Town Square shop spaces totaling 15,000 square feet into Dinosaur Outpost, a hands-on interactive adventure for kids. Just steps from the Town Square Children’s Park, the new business, opens in spring of 2024.
The space, located at 6569 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Suite 173, used to be home to a picture frame shop, shoe store, soap retailer and a small performing arts space. Now, the combined spaces will allow kids to enter a time portal to play tug-of-war with Dusty, the Protoceratops, launch Brussel Sprouts from blaster cannons into the mouth of a Rupert Brontosaurus, or even ride on the back of Annie, a gentle Pachyrhinosoraus. Dinosaur Outpost is also home to the Fossil Fuel Café and three party rooms for birthdays and private events.
Clothier is the founder of Las Vegas-based show props and display design company, Illusion Projects. The idea for Dinosaur Outpost was inspired by the bond he and his son shared over studying dinosaurs together and visiting museums and attractions around the country.
