Dr. Brian Carr and his team celebrated the grand opening of the Las Vegas Iovera Center inside their newly-relocated Las Vegas Concierge Orthopedics office on Thursday, April 18. Located at 9260 W. Sunset Rd., Suite 200, Las Vegas, NV 89148, it offers an array of services including concierge orthopedics, Iovera, joint replacement, hand and wrist surgery, sports injuries, and fracture care.
Guests enjoyed appetizers and cocktails as they toured the facility, which includes an X-ray room and training center where free knee joint replacement classes are provided. Carolyn Carr from Nevada Senator Jacky Rosen’s office presented Dr. Carr and his staff with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition during the event. The Las Vegas Iovera Center will focus on incorporating Iovera into the Las Vegas Concierge Orthopedics services. It is a safe, innovative pain relief treatment which uses extreme cold to stop nerves from sending pain signals to your brain.
“At Las Vegas Concierge Orthopedics, patient satisfaction is our top priority,” said Dr. Carr, founder of Las Vegas Concierge Orthopedics and the Las Vegas Iovera Center. “By delivering top-notch care and advanced treatments, we can stay ahead of medical breakthroughs and trends to best assist, comfort, and heal our patients. The Las Vegas Iovera Center will bring much-needed relief for those living with painful medical conditions or navigating through postoperative care. Allowing for instant relief, coupled with long-lasting effects, this Center will not only enhance our practice and set us apart but also offer an increase in the quality of life. I look forward to continuing to serve the Las Vegas community and making a positive impact on the health and wellness of each patient that places their trust in me.”
The Iovera system is a handheld device that providers use to apply just the right amount of extreme cold to specific nerves causing pain. This process delivers immediate pain relief. Iovera does not contain medicine and does not damage or destroy any surrounding tissue.
Iovera is recommended for anyone with anterior knee pain, people who have osteoarthritis pain in the knee, and those considering a total knee replacement. Additionally, treatment can be done prior to surgery to aid in the recovery process.
