LAS VEGAS – GenuBank, a leading Las Vegas business financial institution, announces the appointment of four executives to its leadership team: Susan Lopez as executive vice president (EVP) and chief administration officer, Michele Guanzon as EVP and chief risk and compliance officer, Kathleen Smith as EVP and director of operations, and Linda Kuhn as EVP of client relations. These appointments, effective immediately, reflect the company’s commitment to fostering growth and innovations across multiple areas of the business.
Susan Lopez has been promoted to EVP and chief administration officer. With over 30 years of experience in banking, Susan has successfully driven growth at other banks. After 8 years with GenuBank, her new role will lead the team in overseeing project management, marketing and bank administration. Susan is a graduate of UNLV and volunteers for Three Square Food Bank and other local non-profit organizations.
Michele Guanzon joins GenuBank as EVP and chief risk and compliance officer. With an extensive background in the banking industry, Michele will oversee GenuBank’s development and administration of robust compliance and risk management programs, as well as partner with other bank leaders to ensure compliant solutions to new initiatives. Michele earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of La Verne.
Kathleen Smith joins GenuBank as EVP and director of operations. In her new role, Kathleen will oversee the operations of the bank and branches and implement product and service offerings that are technologically relevant to meet the needs of the bank’s clients. Kathleen is a graduate of UNLV, is an alumna of Leadership North Las Vegas, and former board member of the Clark County Law Foundation.
Linda Kuhn comes to GenuBank as EVP of client relations. Linda will be responsible for developing new business to expand deposit and loan relationships. Linda graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School and was part of Leadership Las Vegas in 2006. In her spare time, Linda is on the board of directors for Sunrise Children’s Foundation.
