LAS VEGAS (August 12, 2026) – Nationally recognized Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers announced it has donated $80,000 to The Just One Project, reinforcing the firm’s support in addressing food insecurity and supporting vulnerable families throughout Nevada. The donation will support The Just One Project’s ongoing efforts to provide access to nutritious food, critical resources and supportive services for individuals and families facing hardship.
“Access to food is one of the most basic human needs, yet far too many families in our community continue to struggle to put healthy meals on the table,” said Lou Claggett, Community Outreach Director at Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers. “The Just One Project makes a real difference in the lives of Southern Nevadans every day, and we are proud to support an organization that is creating meaningful, lasting impact throughout our community. At the core of our business is helping people, so to take a percentage of our fees and give back to the community is a meaningful element that drives what we do.”
The contribution is part of Claggett & Sykes’ ongoing philanthropic efforts to support organizations that improve the quality of life for Southern Nevada residents. The firm has a longstanding history of investing in initiatives focused on food security, education, legal services, youth development and community well-being, with recent donations to the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada as well as UNLV Boyd School of Law. In 2025 alone, Claggett & Sykes donated $625,000 to various Las Vegas initiatives and organizations.
The Just One Project was founded in 2014 to address some of the region’s most pressing challenges through food assistance programs, housing support services, workforce development initiatives and community outreach efforts. The organization’s programs are designed to help individuals and families not only overcome immediate obstacles but build pathways toward long-term success.
